A Case of Solitary Metastatic Deposit in the Orbital Rim from Follicular Thyroid Cancer

Follicular thyroid carcinoma (FTC) is the second most common cancer, following papillary carcinoma. Metastasis to orbital rim from FTC very rare. We recently experienced a case of with metastasis in 74-year-old woman, who initially presented huge mass and an asymptomatic solitary lesion. The lesion was suspected be separate disease entity such as lymphoma preoperative imaging, but bone finally confirmed after resection total thyroidectomy. During follow-up, patient multiple metastasis, so considered clinical sign systemic FTC. Therefore, we present this unique review literature.
